Clone OKT8, a mouse monoclonal antibody, binds with a 32-34 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein known as CD8 a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. OKT8 binds to CD8?, which forms either a homodimer or a heterodimer with CD8?. It is expressed on the surface of cytotoxic T cells, NK cells, cortical thymocytes, and on some dendritic cells. CD8 functions as a co-receptor for T-cell receptors and specifically binds to class I MHC for antigen recognition and T-cell activation.
mFluor fluorescent labeling dyes are developed specifically for flow cytometry applications to enable optimal multi-color detection. These dyes are excellent alternatives to the phycoprotein-based tandems that are quite difficult to couple to an antibody or other biomolecules and offer greater light stability and brighter fluorescence. The mFluor 450 fluorophore is a great alternative to these dyes: V450, Pacific Blue, VioBlue?, eFluor? 450, Brilliant Violet 421 and Super Bright 436. Do you need an antibody for an antigen you don't see on our website? Do you need a different conjugation than what we have listed? We have a wide selection of antigens with a variety of conjugations available. Please reach out to us at support@geneseesci.com.
